Very good opinion about the Pewdiepie situation

markfangirl:

Right, I am a media student and I need to say I have never ever been so ashamed of the media.

The media relies these days on clicks (reads) from viewers online since the internet is the main place people gather information so they clickbate there way into getting peoples attention (which is wrong) due to the fact the news should not be biest and should tell the truth from different points of views but instead we had “PEWDIEPIE LOVES HITLER” etc you get what I mean.

Main things

Disney no longer is in a relationship with pewdiepie-

This is understandable since pewdiepie (with these jokes) are more aimed towards an adult audience because a younger audience may not be able to understand that its a bad thing. Cool we get it BUT…. in 2014 disney made this deal with pewdiepie .. knowing he wasnt aimed towards any audience inparticular and swore alot in his gaming videos with adult humor … disney knew this but still made a relationship with pewdiepie so in reality disney knew he wasnt child friendly from the start.

Youtube red series scare pewdiepie season 2 cancelled-

Now heres where things get interesting… youtube had no reason to cancel this show as there is no swearing in the first series I can imagine there is non in the second but not only that.. South park… Family guy make jokes all the time about offensive humor and receive awards but pewdiepie gets all of this? This makes me question alot because youtube could of clearly made an age rating on the show and since it was nearly done I cant actually think of a reason that youtube cancelled it at all. I want an explanation as to why they did due to the fact the reason is missing.

The youtube ad platform - this is only for the videos that are deemed as basically PG or with some strong language ….. and things like that. With this I understand why youtube may have done this but at the same time I do not due to the fact they could of chosen the suitable videos themselves to be chosen for the ad platform instead of kicking him out.

After all of this… Disney kind of have a good explanation BUT DON’T due to knowing that pewdiepie all along wasnt aimed towards any audience. He swore in videos and made adult humor since they made the relationship. Youtube had no reason to cancel scare pewdiepie and did it to aboard the kill pewdiepie express… which is not right. the media should be ashamed of attempting to make this man look bad when in all reality he offended maybe a bunch of people in the whole worlds population and family guy and other tv shows slide past it like it was nothing. The media is to blame for this.. taking the mans words out of context and planting horrible images of the comedian in the eyes of the public.

my last words on this are

I thought Misha was going to spread love?

violue:

mandaleepandalecki:

All he does is bash Donald Trump, and anyone involved in politics. He spends more time posting negativity than he does spreading love like he talked about doing when Hillary lost. I love the dude, but he is acting like a major sore loser. I have seen more negativity and hate from him than I have from Trump voters, or even other Hillary supporters.

Practice what you preach, you know? Be the change you wanna see? I don’t know.

Are you fucking kidding me with this?

Trump and his supporters are calling for Muslim bans. They’re attacking trans rights. They’re attacking women’s reproductive rights. They’re attacking the health coverage of millions of Americans. They’re trying to build a wall to keep Mexicans out. They’re denying climate change in favor of capitalism. They are giving positions of power to ACTUAL NAZIS. They’re lying in press conferences and spreading misinformation, working to keep middle America ignorant of their ties to Russia so they can secure Trump’s re-election.

Muslim and Jewish places of worship are being attacked. Swastikas are being scribbled on subways and spray painted on walls.

This isn’t a fucking basketball game, where Misha’s favorite team lost and now he’s whining about it on Twitter. The fate of his country and many people in it is in jeopardy, and he’s speaking out against it. People that aren’t rich, straight, white, Christian cismen are losing their rights, and he is speaking out against it. That’s love. That’s showing love for the people this administration is working to disenfranchise. That’s showing that even though he’s a privileged white male, he cares about interests beyond what affects him personally Sorry he’s not ducking his head in the sand and supporting the destruction our country’s principals.

And he is spreading love in a “positive way”. He got Jared and Jensen with him to start the LOVE t-shirt campaign to help needy families at Christmas. He gets on snapchat almost every day to share poems with his followers. Yesterday he tweeted a message of love and support to this nation’s immigrants, and that was after he went to a god damn senior center to deliver roses.

He is being the change he wants to see. A good man that speaks out against injustice when he sees it. As a low income, black, queer woman, I feel supported, I see someone with privilege caring about what happens to people like me and I feel hope.

What Misha is doing is patriotism, and I am so fucking proud to be his fan.

A Sweet Deception (thoughts about 12.11)

*Mr. Burns hand wringing*

Yes, excellent.

Mostly…

Ok, so no one drank milk in this episode but it kind of wasn’t needed, intentions weren’t exactly subtle.

…Also, I knew it! Mwahahaha! Those damned, shot hogging waffles! I know what you’re trying to tell me, waffles. I understand you. What’s that, waffles? @mittensmorgul already shed light on your grand conspiracy? Why, yes. I know, that’s what she does and she does it very well. In fact, I’m sure many others have too. However, I’d still like to break this scene down myself because it’s interesting… well, part of it is. Part of it’s a tired tendency in tv that’s still common and makes me cringe.. *sigh*

Ok, so after Dean wakes up next to a blatant Alice in Wonderland reference, he gets a guy to lend him his phone and asks Sam to meet him at a waffle house(House of deceptiooon!). There’s your exposition.

Scene in the waffle house opens with a shot of sugared up waffle stack leaving the kitchen. Just based on this and our knowledge of waffles in the show, we can gather that this scene will involve deception. The waffles are placed as being part of Dean’s order, but he doesn’t touch them. The camera reminds us of the waffles again in the scene by lazily panning down and blurring out the foreground. Dean never touches these waffles. When the waitress from the night before approaches Dean, she slaps him when he doesn’t remember her. He then pays for the food and leaves the waffles on the counter untouched. The most he acknowledges them is offering them to Sam, who declines. Sam even thinks Dean is drunk, even though he’s not. Could count as another deception, but it’s less important here.

Sounds to me like maybe this girl was the waffles, unfortunately. I’m not really a fan of likening her to food but it’s kind of what’s being written… again, not uncommon. And that point is brought into harsher light when they meet her again in the burger place later on. She starts telling them about the night before and how she was busy. Dean had drank a few tequilas and flirted with her, then according to her, they “Let off some steam” Dean doesn’t remember. I agree with Mittens when she said the waitress was testing him. Her story just doesn’t add up on its own. The only part of what she says is true is that he drank some, got on the bull and flirted some, agreeing to meet her later.

Dean ordered a plate of sugary waffles, vaguely acknowledges them, but leaves them on the table without touching them and following through.

Dean agreed to something sweet from the waitress, flirted with her, but left without touching her and following through.

Okay, couple clarifications here. When Dean ordered that big stack of waffles, it was because he was almost done ALREADY EATING A HUGE STACK:

image

HE ORDRED THE BANANA WAFFLES FIRST, and hadn’t quite finished eating them (but boy howdy was he trying, even licking the knife as he went along), and then ordered a plate of strawberry ones that he was dragged away from before he could even take a taste.

Sort of like… maybe how he had the hots for Larry and went for a ride, but then he “ordered up” a get together with Elke but he got dragged away before he could even take a taste…

I mean. Dean literally called Elke “the girl from the waffles.” That’s how he identified her, while standing by an El Sol sign.

So to sum up, Dean had the banana waffles. Just not the strawberry ones.

Dean had the banana waffles. Just not the strawberry ones.

omg Mittens it gets so obvious once you say it… X°D
